My story
Thanks for sharing your story. I just got diagnosed with mine, so I think it may be too early to notice any symptoms. I do have a question for you. You said that you've had 8 colposcopy's done? Do they get easier each time you have them done? I'm about to have my first to find out what kind I have and I am very, very scared. : (
Yes they do get easier, but the stress does not. The colpo is the easy part, a little cramping feeling but other than that it is not to bad. I will do those all day to avoid having another LEEP. They LEEP was not horrible but it is scary and I hope you never have to go through that.
Good luck and if you need to talk I am always here.
Hi I am also 24 and i'm sorry to hear about your situation. I too, have the non-wart causing kind. I have already had a coloscopy and biopsy done and the results came back normal. I am due for another pap soon, this procedure was done a couple months ago, I'm praying that it's normal again... my doc told me that i could be cured from it, but I am just wondering if it could "reactivate" again in the future... i had mild/lowgrade c. dysplasia.... I really pray it never goes beyond that b/c i really want to have a family in the future. i also just want to say how it sucks so bad that i'm a hypochondriac and i always take care of myself, that this has happened to me. i feel so horrible but all i can say is stay healthy and always get your paps done. I hope I could help, i am here if u need me b/c Lord knows I need help too... lol
Update. I Go in for my Re-pap on Wends! I am excited but scared.
I went to the doctor after the symptoms stated above. She looked at the cells under the microscope and said I have an infection and gave me some antibiotics and it did not help. The Pain is still there along with the sensitivity. So I guess I will find out soon enough right.
Pray it is negative!
Thanks for your time. I will update after I get the results.
OK so my doctors nurse called me and said that my Doctor would like to have a consultation with me about "the pain during/after sex" which was a minor issue to me. I am freaking out and do not know what to think. Nobody can tell me anything, my biggest thing is that every time before this even when she told me I had HPV either her or her nurse would call and tell me over the phone. Does this mean it is something worse since she wants me to come in???
Help! I am freaking out
I go in tomorrow but need someone who has been there!
Well turns out that my HPV is back and I go in today for a colpo. Also turns out I have endometriosis and it has taken them 2 years at least to find it. I am so worried and freaked out. Not only to I have low grade HPV again and not just abnormal test but low grade, I also have that. Yesterday was a bad day. I hope someday I can have a child. Seeing as how much people with endometriosis end up having a hystriectomy. :(
I have cervical cramping, ever since my first cervical biopsy. It comes and goes. Sometimes I can wear tampons sometimes it hurts to. Sometimes sex hurts when it's deep. It's like my cervix is sensitive. My gspot is sensitive to, but I don't know if it was never sensitive.
Sj23 You want want to make sure to mention this to your Doctor and ask if there is a chance of Endo.
hang in there... it will be OK

Like you said, HPV rearely produces symptoms beyond warts. I would consider that some of these side effects, while gynecological in nature, may not be related, but a seperate issue. Have you brought up these issues when talking to your Dr.? You can always get a second opinion, unexplained issues usally have an explanation, you Dr. just may not be the one to figure it out. Bottom line, it seems your body is trying to tell you something, you just have to find the right Dr. who can put all the pieces together.
Blessings-
CK
